M13 is a brand development and investment company accelerating businesses at the nexus of consumer products, technology, and media. Founded by brothers Carter and Courtney Reum, M13 derives its name from Messier 13, the brightest cluster of stars in the galaxy whereby the collection of stars shines brighter than the sum of its individual parts.\r\n\r\nObsessed with connecting dots and leveraging the many unique offerings of Southern California (strong brands, innovative entrepreneurs, content creators, celebrity/influencers, large local market, etc.), M13 brings together the pieces of the puzzle to ensure brands become part of a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.\r\n\r\nM13 is institutionalizing the brand creation, development, and expansion process, allowing companies to focus on what they each do best while minimizing invested time and capital.\r\n\r\nCompanies in which M13 principals have directly invested: \r\n*Pinterest\r\n*lyft\r\n*SpaceX & Hyperloop\r\n*Fan Duel\r\n*Warby Parker\r\n*Bonobos\r\n*Birchbox\r\n*KeVita \r\n*krave jerky\r\n*Suja\r\n*Pressed Juicery\r\n*Shake Shack\r\n*ClassPass \r\n*Headspace\r\n*Blue Bottle Coffee (via Tonx)\r\n*Thrive Market\r\n*Munchery\r\n*The Chia Co\r\n*Hylete\r\n*Fleur du Mal\r\n*Surf Air\r\n*VenueNext\r\n*Tender Greens\r\n*Sambazon\r\n*Edison Junior\r\n*Scopely\r\n*Bouqs\r\n*Blackbird Vineyards / Maisonry\r\n*Urban Remedy / Science\r\n*Violet Grey\r\n*food stirs\r\n*Rhythm Superfoods\r\n*Native Foods Pinole\r\n*Wilde \r\n*Ten Thousand\r\n*Surkus\r\n*crave\r\n*Yoi\r\n*Luxury Garage Sale\r\n*Back to the Roots\r\n*Shelvspace\r\n*Wine Awesomeness\r\n*Honk\r\n*Vacatia\r\n*Reaction Housing\r\n*Aloha\r\n*Bonobo Winery\r\n*Fingi\r\n*RadPad\r\n*Local Store Identity\r\n*Leesa\r\n*Laurel & Wolfe
