Our interdisciplinary team, comprising of doctors, patients, caregivers, public health experts, designers, engineers, and content creators, has come together to reimagine how people access health information, with trust and expert curation at the forefront.
Today, Roon is a video-based medical Q&A platform, providing trusted answers to health questions. Thousands of experts from top medical institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, UCSF, Cornell, UPenn, Duke, and Columbia have contributed content and are sharing Roon with their patients.

Role Summary
You will play a critical role in shaping Rooon’s product vision and strategy, and will be responsible for leading Roon’s next phase of development and growth. You will work at the intersection of healthcare, AI, and video content to deliver an experience that is not only technically advanced but also deeply empathetic to our users' health challenges. This role will require you to bring strategic vision, curiosity about AI and video content, and strong leadership skills to build and iterate a product that meets the real needs of people going through hard health journeys. This role reports into the CEO and you will be working alongside an executive team including our CTO and Chief Medical Officer.
Who You Are
Experienced: 10+ years of consumer product experience
Obsessive Tinkerer with AI & Video: You are deeply curious about the changing AI and video landscape and have experimented with the latest AI application stack apps.
Built and shipped 0-1 products. You’ve owned an early product, ideally an app, end-to-end. Strong plus if you have worked on two sided marketplaces.
Built and led teams. You’ve recruited and managed a team of high performing people.
Managed ambiguity. You thrive in environments of change and enjoy wearing many hats.
Worked with different stakeholders. Adept at balancing the needs and perspective of audiences ranging from engineers, designers, doctors and marketers
Great taste. You have great taste in software and design.

What You’ll Do
As a key member of our founding team, you will play a critical role in shaping our product vision and strategy, and will be responsible for bringing our product to market. We are looking for someone that can design and run several PMF experiments and be able to quickly distill learnings and help ship ideas fast.
Set the Product Strategy: Work with the Founders to refine the product strategy for multiple conditions and platforms balancing our vision with feedback from our users and community.
Mange the Product Roadmap: Translate the product strategy into execution - establishing a prioritized roadmap, timelines and product requirements for the team to build against
Run & Ship Rapid PMF Experiments: On a weekly basis design and run new PMF experiments with an eye towards rapid distillation of insights
Drive Cross Functional Alignment & Collaboration: Work across a high caliber cross-functional team of engineers, designers, doctors, content creators and community managers to drive alignment and bring the plan to reality
Act as a Champion for Patients & Doctors: Act as a champion for empathy and compassion in product development, ensuring the patient and doctor experience is always a top priority.
