About the role
We are looking for a Growth & AI Operations Intern to help build and maintain AI-powered workflows across Roon’s growth organization. You will work closely with a member of our growth team to identify repetitive or time-intensive processes and develop practical automations that improve how our team works.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who has already started building with AI and automation tools and wants to apply those skills in a real operating environment. You will receive business context, regular feedback, and support prioritizing projects from the growth team.
What you’ll do
Build, deploy, and maintain AI agents and workflows across the growth funnel, including:Physician recruitment: sourcing and researching physicians and specialties, enriching and qualifying leads, and generating personalized outreach at scaleSegmentation: classifying physicians by specialty, career stage, engagement, and intent so every message reaches the right audienceCampaigns: drafting, assembling, and QA-ing multi-channel campaigns for specialty launches, events, and product momentsWeekly sequences: producing and scheduling recurring email sequences and lifecycle messaging, and iterating based on performanceIntegrate agents with company systems, including Airtable, Slack, Notion, Email Bison, and Customer.io, so outputs land where the team already worksIdentify the next automation opportunity: shadow the growth team, spot the repetitive work, and propose what to buildWhat You’ll Gain

You are an ambitious recent graduate or are currently enrolled in a graduate-level program with a demonstrated interest in healthcareYou have built projects using AI, automation tools, or LLM APIs through work, school, or independent experimentationYou have some experience working with APIs, webhooks, databases, or scripting languages such as Python or JavaScriptFamiliarity with Claude Managed AgentsYou are resourceful and comfortable learning new tools and solving technical problems independentlyYou communicate clearly and can collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teammatesYou are interested in the intersection of AI, growth, and operationsYou are excited to work in a fast-moving, early-stage startup environmentRole details
