About the job

As a Customer Support Associate, you will be the first line of defense for incoming client queries and support requests. This is a foundational role within our operations and client success ecosystem, where your core responsibility is to ensure every query is handled with clarity, empathy, and speed.

You’ll respond to a range of general support emails and inquiries, routing complex issues to the appropriate internal teams including payments, operations, payroll, transactions, benefits, and tech. Your ability to communicate clearly and solve problems efficiently will directly impact client satisfaction and retention. This is a perfect role for someone looking to break into the global tech and HR/payroll space, with hands-on exposure to how a fast-growing company operates from the inside.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for general client support queries via email and other support channels.
  • Triage, escalate, and route client issues to appropriate internal departments with precision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Payroll, Payments, Ops, Benefits, and Tech to drive timely resolutions.
  • Ensure every support ticket is logged, tracked, and resolved according to SLAs.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and empathy in all client interactions.
  • Continuously update support documentation and suggest process improvements.
  • Actively contribute to building a culture of responsiveness, accuracy, and client-first service.

Requirements

A formal degree is appreciated but not required. We care more about your ability to communicate, solve problems, and serve clients well.

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer support, client services, or any client-facing role.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Basic familiarity with tools like Zendesk, Intercom, or Freshdesk is a plus.
  • Comfortable with learning new systems and processes quickly.
  • A team player who can collaborate well across departments.
