About the Role

Compliance @ Ampla: As a financial services company Ampla is subject to various federal and state regulations and most importantly has an obligation to our customers, employees and shareholders to operate our business responsibly for all of these parties. The Compliance team provides advice, oversight and governance over all aspects of Ampla’s business.

As our first Compliance Manager, you will work for our VP of Compliance to build out the Compliance function that supports Ampla’s product offering to ensure we appropriately manage risk and remain compliant as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, evolve and enforce Ampla’s Compliance Management System including: policies, risk assessments and testing plans for US lending and banking products.
  • Work with Ampla’s bank partners to ensure compliance with all requirements and oversight
  • Develop and facilitate compliance training for employees
  • Assist with the acquisition and maintenance of relevant state licenses
  • Provide guidance to product, marketing, sales and support teams on customer experiences, communications and materials
  • Build out our Compliance team as we scale

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of regulatory compliance experience in US banking and/ or lending (Commercial or a mix of Consumer and Commercial is preferred)
  • Firm understanding and proven ability to execute a CMS program
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state lending laws
  • Strong knowledge of AML/BSA guidelines and requirements
  • Excellent ability to analyze and interpret legal and statutory materials as well as state and federal regulations
  • Exceptional organizational skills: ability to effectively prioritize tasks, produce consistently accurate work, and meet competing deadlines
  • Highest degree of confidentiality and integrity
  • CRCM designation or aspiration to obtain CRCM is preferred
