Allocate is seeking a Client Account Specialist to oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for our suite of our private fund solutions, including custom funds, access and direct funds. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding experience while coordinating across internal teams and third-party providers.

Primary Objectives:

  • Lead the onboarding process for white-label fund structures, ensuring timely execution and adherence to client-specific requirements.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, guiding them through fund creation, onboarding, and operational setup.

  • Work closely with legal, compliance, investment, and finance teams to facilitate fund formation, structuring, and regulatory adherence.

  • Coordinate with custodians and service providers to support fund setup and ongoing operations.

  • Standardize, document, and improve onboarding workflows for efficiency and scalability.

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication throughout onboarding, conduct check-ins, and provide a high-touch experience.

  • Ensure all client interactions, onboarding status updates, and relevant records are properly maintained in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of applicable fund formation and onboarding experience.

  • Client management experience preferred.

  • Strong understanding of venture capital, private equity, and alternative investment structures.

  • Experience with white-label solutions is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit.

  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-centric approach.

Additional Details:

  • Location: New York, NY or Menlo Park, CA (must be able to work from our local NYC or Menlo offices 3 days a week or as needed)

  • Salary Range: $80-110k base salary + equity.

    • Actual salary will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, location, skills, training, certifications and education, other relevant qualifications specific to the role, and internal equity and market data. Total compensation may include equity and discretionary performance-based bonuses based on individual, team, and company performance factors.

  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, responsible time off (RTO), 401k.

  • Employment: Full-time.

  • This role will be subject to Allocate's Code of Ethics and related compliance obligations of Allocate.

  • Position will report to the Director of Fund & IR Operations.
